A Life-Sized Goose Needs a Rescue!
Sometimes the most exciting creative projects face unexpected setbacks.
Sculptress Joel has created a dramatic, characterful, life-sized goose sculpture that deserves to be brought to life. Unfortunately, after months of work, the client who commissioned the piece has had to withdraw from the project due to unforeseen circumstances.

It has been a difficult journey in multiple ways …including having to move the clay sculpture several times – not what you want for a large complex sculpture in modelling clay stage…
I am very grateful for the help and support of those who have already helped with the move and provide a temporary studio and kickstart the Crowdfunder .
The last month I have been able to spend many hours repairing the damage and adding in the details on the clay of the Goose… And was excited to think of things for you to find on the base of the sculpture where the Goose is walking. So we do hope that the right place and funds for mould and casting can be gathered.
As an artist I have never tried this type of appeal before – but do follow along because the details and character of this Goose on the Loose are really taking shape …. or is it a Gander on the Wander ?? I shall have to see what you’all think!
