Bronze Sculpture by Sculptress JOEL of the charming Long Tailed Tit

Darling Bird in Bronze – the Long Tailed Tit

Small delightful bird species captured in bronze, both a pair or single now a submission by JOEL for Open Studios exhibition September 2026

The Long-tailed Tit (Aegithalos caudatus) is such a darling bird and there is so much to discover about the character and abilities of this small but delightful bird.

Coming along all too quickly are the submissions for the fantastic Art Exhibition Central for Northamptonshire & Rutland Open Studios at Lamport Hall, Northamptonshire in September and I am aiming to submit a pair of these lovely birds and a single too.

The Long Tailed Tit captured in 3d -Such a lovely way to celebrate life and make something heritage quality that can become a special gift or art collection.

The birds are perched on natural twigs. The twig for the pair also has individually made catkins and as you can see the design means that this bronze sculpture stands up on its own – so you can set it where you like, on another base or just on its own.

Anyone looking for a good bronze wedding anniversary celebration may have found what they are looking for!
